Coming Back

By Rachel Rosenthal

Struggling, Breaking Down
I cry out, without making a sound
I need you now more than ever
Reign down on me Lord, now or never,
These tears stream down from my eyes
While I wait for answers from my desperate cries…

I want to run back into your arms,
I need you to protect me from harm,
As this world tears me apart,
I give you my heart,
Please renew my weak soul,
And once again make me whole…

When you refill my cup,
I hope you'll lift me up,
I want to stay with you all my life,
Being carefree from trouble and strife,
So as I put you first,
You'll quench this deep thirst…

So I get down on my knees,
And ask you to comfort me,
I come up to your heavenly seat,
And rest my burdens at your feet,
Without saying a single word,
I'm coming back to you, My Lord
