John:  But Pet……….
Peter: No buts, just lock the doors; you don’t want the Jewish authorities knowing where we are, do you?
John:  Fine, I’ll lock the doors.
Peter:  Thank you.  So has anyone got anything to report?
All:  No, not a thing.
Andrew:  Apart from he’s gone. Jesus has really gone.  Left us alone with noth…………
Peter:  Ok, thank you Andrew for pointing out the obvious.
Andrew:  No probs, bro.
Peter: Anyone else got anything to say?
All:  No.
Peter:  Looks like we are in for a long boring night then.
Andrew: We could always have a game of charades, bagsy me first.
Peter:  I hardly think now is the right time to be playing charades, do you.
Andrew:  Don’t see why not, might cheer you up a bit, and make you less tense.
Peter:  I am not ten…………
Jesus:  Peace be with you.
Peter: (terrified)  Wwwwwho are you
John:  (terrified) Hhhhhhow did you get in.
Jesus:  Why are you alarmed? It is I, Jesus, see? (Jesus shows his hands and side.)
Andrew:  Well I never. Sure beats charades.
Peter:  Andrew.  (Jumping around with joy) You’re alive, you’re alive, oh my gosh, I can’t believe it, you’re alive.
Jesus:  That I am.  Peace be with you, now go in my name.  (Jesus leaves.)
Peter:  I guess that wasn’t such a boring night after all.
John:  Exactly, and maybe it’s time we found Thomas so we can tell him.
Peter:  Mmmmm, I suppose we should at least try. (everyone leaves)

Scene 2
Thomas:  …and he just came amongst you.
Peter:  Yes.
Thomas:  Through locked doors.
Peter:  Yes.
Thomas:  Right, course he did, and I’m the queen of Sheeba.
Andrew:  I had wonder………
Peter: That’s enough, Andrew.
Andrew:   Well, I’m getting the idea he doesn’t believe us.
Thomas:  I can’t think for the life of me why you’re getting that idea, Andrew, are you ok?
Andrew:  Now you come to mention it, I do fe………….
Thomas:  Andrew, I don’t care, I was being sarcastic.  No, I don’t believe you and I won’t until I see and feel the scars and put my hand in his side.
Peter:  Fine, your loss.  John, are the doors locked?
John:  Yes.
Peter:  So has anyone got anything to report?
All:  No.
Peter:  Has anyone got anything they want to share with us?
All:  (think for a while) No.
Andrew:  Well, just that we could alwa…………………..
Peter:  Before you finish that sentence, no, Andrew, we are not playing charades.
Andrew:  Spoilsport.
Peter:  Anyone else got anything sensi……………
Jesus:  Peace be with you.
Thomas:  (scared) Very funny, guys, but it’s not gonna work, you don’t scare me, so just pack it in.
Jesus:  Thomas, look at my hands, put your hand in my side, stop your doubting and believe. (Thomas does what he is told)
Thomas:  My Lord and my God.
Jesus:  You believe because you see me, how happy are those who believe without seeing. (Jesus leaves)
Andrew:  See we told ya we weren’t lying, bet ya feel kinda stupid now.
Peter:  Andrew.
Thomas:  No Peter, he’s right, I should have believed you when you first told me, I’m sorry.
Peter:  Hey, don’t worry, we all make mistakes.
Andrew:  Yeah, and you should know as you made the biggest mistake of all. Well, apart from that Judas bloke, and look what happened to him.
John:  Andrew.
Peter:  It’s ok, John, I know what I did, but I also know I am forgiven, as is Thomas and everyone else who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ.
